Ένα από τα ωραιότερα χριστουγεννιάτικα τραγούδια - τουλάχιστον για εμένα - είναι το γνωστό τραγούδι "Happy Christmas" του John Lennon και της Yoko Ono.
Μπορεί το τραγούδι να μην γράφτηκε για τα Χριστούγεννα αλλά για το τέλος του πολέμου του Βιετνάμ αλλά συνοδεύει όλα μας τα Χριστούγεννα και ιδιαίτερα εκείνα μετά τη δολοφονία του John Lennon, στις 8 Δεκεμβρίου του 1980.
O John Lennon και η Yoko Ono ηχογράφησαν αυτό το τραγούδι το 1971 στη Ν. Υόρκη. Στα φωνητικά συμμετέχει η Xορωδία της Κοινότητας του Harlem.
Το κομμάτι αποτελεί μέρος της καμπάνιας που έκαναν ο John Lennon και η Yoko Ono ήδη από τα τέλη του 1969 κατά του πολέμου στο Βιετνάμ.
Οι ευχές που ακούγονται στην αρχή είναι «Happy Christmas Kyoko» από την Yoko για την κόρη της Kyoko, που είχε αποκτήσει με τον Anthony Cox και «Happy Christmas, Julian» από τον John Lennon για τον γιο του Julian, που είχε αποκτήσει με την Cynthia Powell.
